Little Jayden is sick again....

My grandson is in the hospital again. He's been getting those high fevers and seisures. Last Thursday he had a high temp, but my son got him in a cool bath and kept it under control. Then he seemed fine. He was fine when we were there Saturday. Then Sunday he was fine, but when he was taking a nap his temp went up and he had a seisure so they rushed him to the hospital. My son stayed with him all night and about 3:00 this morning his temp went up and he had another seisure. They ran tests.....they even did a spinal tap to check for meningitis....but they can't find anything wrong. He has no ear infections, no pneumonia, no vomiting, no diarrhea, no signs of even a cold. They can only guess that it is viral and that is why he is getting a high temperature...and that sets off a seisure. It's really weird. I was there this afternoon and he was fine except he was getting cranky cause he needed a nap and he was tired of being cooped up in that bed with his arm attached to tubes...poor baby. They are keeping him there another night to see how he does. If he is fine tonight, then he can come home tomorrow. Right now, they just have him on fluids and motrin or tylenol.
