I'm rollin on new tires...

I got new stuff today! My one tire on my jeep is really bad. It keeps losing air so it's wearing out bad. I'm sure they are the original tires from 2002 so the other three will have to be replaced soon anyway, so I decided to just get a whole new set now while I'm doing all this driving this summer. Besides driving back and forth to Caseville, I'm also going to Niagara Falls and see my buddy, Bill.

Also I decided to replace the sofa bed at the condo cause the bed part has been partly broken for awhile and it's tricky to get the bed out and back in and it's only a matter of time before the other side breaks and then it will be totally useless. So I went to Art Van and got it ordered for delivery 2 weeks from tomorrow. But now I have to get rid of the other one. So the maintenance men there better haul it out of my place and hopefully the trash guys will take it. If Hersel, the manager, gives me a hard time about getting rid of it, then my girlfriend and I will haul it out and leave it in the middle of his parking lot...hahahaha

I got my dogs their 2006 licenses today.

OH...over the weekend I hit some garage sales and boy did I get a deal!! This one sale had a manual treadmill, like new, for only $2.00!!! It folds up and is easy to pick up (not heavy at all) and it has wheels so you can roll it to whatever room. There's a digital timer that must work on a battery. It starts timing when I start walking on the belt...it also can calculate the miles I walk. It's pretty neat. The belt part is also on an incline which is way better for exercise. So today I did my treadmill a couple times...10-12 mins each.

Last night BIG BROTHER was on for the new season. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Big Brother!!! This season should be a really good one, cause they are bringing housemates back from the last six seasons...so it's an All-Star season. So last night they had 20 housemates and we have to vote 12 back into the house for the season. I can't wait!!!!!....and ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA is starting! Right now TV is so boring cause all the good shows had their finales.

That's it....tomorrow no more internet, so I'll keep up on my blog occasionally thru other computers......like anybody cares anyway...haha

Yesterday was Father's Day and two of my sons came over and the other one called. We barbequed steak and burgers on the grill, but then the rain came pouring down so we ate inside.

We found a bunny hole in our backyard...there are so many rabbits running around. My neighbor said it is because all the crows are gone...they have been hit by that west nile virus. She said that the crows use to get the baby rabbits which kept the rabbit population down. So now that there aren't any crows, the rabbits are breeding like crazy I guess. Well, I'd rather have cute little bunnies than those mean old crows.

About a month ago I took a box full of some of my Boyd's bears to this consignment store. So I went there Friday to get a payout and I was given the runaround and I was told to call on Monday and make an appointment. She said that they were listed on Ebay and they are waiting for payment on those that were sold. So I tell her that I didn't want them listed on Ebay....that I could have done that myself, but I know that you can't get much on Ebay anymore for them. I thought I would do better having them in the store. When I filled out the list of the items I also put in the prices that I wanted for each bear. So I go on Ebay and look up this store's sales and there were my Boyds Bears all sold for absolutely ridiculous low prices. For instance this one bear is worth money and I priced him at $20...so they sold it for $2.00!!! I am so mad I could scream. I would have kept it for that price. Also I went there today to set up an appointment and the place was closed. Friday when I was there they were having a big storewide sale on everything and there isn't much in the store like there usually is. It looks to me like they are closing down. I just better get the money that is owed me. I also took a lamp in to sell and a comforter and dust ruffle....so they owe me money.

I've been going through things and packing up crap to sell at my garage sale. I'm going to have a garage sale in Caseville on June 30/July 1...it's the Fourth of July weekend and everybody has sales on the holiday weekends and there will be a ton of people there then. It should be fun and I hope to make some money...

I was like so dying upstairs earlier from the heat. We have an attic fan but I asked my husband if it was ready to turn on yet (like it's 90 degrees in June!)and he said NO...which is what I expected since I hadn't gotten all the shelves and crap out of the closet so he can climb up into the attic to take the winter covering off the fan.....so I wasn't surprised that it wasn't ready to turn on yet. I mean, normally I am so on-the-ball and get the shit out of the closet by May so I can force him at gunpoint to climb up there and get the covering off so I can TURN THE FAN ON SO I DON'T DIE OF HEAT EXHAUSTION BY NOW!!!

Tonight I went out with my friend and I got home and lo-and-behold!!!.....the fan was actually running upstairs!!!...and I can say that I am sitting here in comfort! Now I know why I am getting this specialness.....cause I kept my BIG MOUTH SHUT when he knew damn well he deserves to be yelled at....but I didn't....so I get AIRRRRRRRR....(mmmmmm, the wisdom of my father pays off)

Anyway...I went out tonight with my girlfriend (the one who lost her son) and we drank beers til they closed.

Oh, last night I went to the show and saw a movie BY MYSELF, of course.....I asked, but he declined...so whatelseisnew??....anyway, I saw "LAKE HOUSE" with Keanu and Sandra. I have been waiting forever since they have been advertising this movie to see it...I just love fantasy-time-difference movies...whatever! He is in 2004 and she is in 2006 and somehow everything works out and I'm crying....

Did I mention this fact?..don't remember...Remember how I really really loved "Eight Below" with the sled dogs??? Well, come to find out...I was talking about this movie with my girlfriend in Caseville AND so she tells me!!....that her ex-sister-in-law lives in Alaska and raises sled dogs and apparently they used some of her dogs for the movie!!...She said that they took some of her dogs for like six months for the movie. What an ironic connection to this movie I have....

I'm sure most of you who are reading this blog are thinking "WHOTHEFUCKCARES"...

Well I have nothing better to do at 3:37 in the morning so read it......

OMG.....I married a Redneck Pollack

So I came back home.....from my nice place in Caseville with my weeded flower gardens, my nice deck and chairs, my do-what-I-want-to-do days to MORE CRAP!!

First off...I love my soaps and I don't get my favorite soap, Guiding Light, in Caseville....so when I came home I couldn't wait to see an episode. So at exactly 9:58 a.m. my phone rings....I don't answer it cause I don't answer my phone between 10-11. It was my neighbor calling me and she left a message for me to call her. I decided I'd call her at precisely 11:01 when my Soap is done. So at 10:10 she is knocking at my frickin door and my dogs are going nutso and there is no way I can pretend no one is home, so I have to answer it.

Her fence is like 18" from the side of my garage....that was a major dispute about 10 years ago with property lines....people are such f'ng idiots about property lines....(God help us if we take 2" of property line that doesn't belong to us!)...She went balistic with us 10 years ago over a few inches of property line so she went and put a fence up and blocked in the side of our garage. We, in turn, decided to totally ignore that side of our garage and in the last 10 years all kinds of shit has grown or has been put there. Unbeknowst to me, my husband has been piling all kinds of crap there like a real hillbilly redneck.....plus the fact that the siding on that side of our garage is full of real yucky black mold...which, I'm sure, is a real view on her side....haha

So she politely and very friendly-like tells me that she is thinking about taking that part of her fence down cause she now realizes that her fence is making it impossible for us to "maintain" that side of our garage. I'm like "Whatever!" So now the bitch is gonna take the friggin fence down and now I have to clean up all this crap. So that's what I've been doing since I got back. I have dug out two car exhaust systems, a bumper to some car, a very long steel basket ball hoop thingy, a long pole with a pool cleaning brush (we don't even have a pool....just something my husband got from the guy next door....guess in case we ever get a pool...whothehellknows), various planters and some Twin Pines milk carton (do they even make Twin Pines anymore??). And I'm cutting down all this overgrowth...I mean it's like a jungle there...all these tree seedlings that sprouted up over the years.

So now I'm pissed.....I've been telling my husband for years that things are overgrown and he needs to do something and, of course, he ignores me.....I use to have grape vines and made my own grape jelly that my grandmother taught me to make. Now the grape vines are all over the place, producing nothing for years, and the vines are all growing into these tree things that have taken over. So I have been trying to clean things up. I got the pruning shears and I am cutting everything...I am whacking everything....I cut up all my grape vines....I've been like a madwoman cutting crap down and dragging all that crap out from next to my garage that my pollack redneck husband has been storing. It is embarassing! And I told him so. What I would really like to tell him I can't....cause I have to keep my big mouth shut so we can "get by" until I can do something.....I am not real happy with him right now.

I have been harping on him for years about this....remember the Fiero car that was in my backyard for 8 years until recently when he was forced to sell cause the city sent us notices about it.....The problem is that whenever I tell him to do something, that is when he absolutely WON'T do it....been that way since we got married.....typical asshole man!

So now I came home to enjoy some peace in my own house and now I'm dealing with cleaning up his 10-year shit....

Home is where the Heart is.....whatever

I have a couple of metal wallhanging signs that say exactly that...Home is where the Heart is....I'm selling them at my garage sale.

Anyway...so I got back home yesterday and I'm really really bummed. I had decided to get my linoleum laid last Friday and stay through the weekend cause I "thought" that the Redford Festival is this weekend.....why or why don't I CHECK THINGS OUT FIRST BEFORE I MAKE STUPID DECISIONS?????? So today I drive by the park and there is nothing there....no rides, no people, and no beer tent! Husband explains that the festival was LAST WEEKEND....and I missed it!! We always go every friggin year. Actually I make my husband go with me cause he hates going anywhere, and I know that when I called him to tell him that I was going to go ahead and make the appointment to get the linoleum installed and drive home the following week, I KNOW that I said something about being home then for the festival and he said NOTHING. I just know that he knew that the festival was the weekend I was going to stay in Caseville and he is pretending now that he "misunderstood" me and thought I knew already that I would miss it.....yeah, right....he was probably jumping for joy when he knew he wouldn't have to go to the festival with me. I remember distinctly saying something like "....so I'll go ahead and get the tile installed and drive home next week, then I'll be home for the festival".....and he just says "okay"....idiot...

I even went shopping this afternoon looking for something cute to wear....

Actually looking for something cute that would FIT MY BIG ASS.....All I did in Caseville was eat, eat, eat....my girlfriend and I went out to eat almost every day.

This one day we went to Bad Axe to drop her little dog off at the groomer and we decided to eat lunch at the Peppermill....Big Mistake! They don't have the swiftest waitresses there and although there were only about two other tables with people we waited and waited for her to show up....we finally got up and got our own menus...then she showed up and we both ordered the chopped steak with hash browns with the soup and salad bar. She asked us how we wanted the steak (which is basically a big fat hamburger anyway) cooked....mine medium and my girlfriend wanted hers well done. So I am stuffing myself with salad and soup and rolls....my girlfriend had a problem to deal with and was on the phone and ended up with one small bowl of soup while we were waiting for our food. So the waitress brings the food....my steak was so well done it was charcoaled black on the bottom...our hash browns were so burnt they were crunchy. So I took my food back to her and told her it was too overcooked and demanded another one and explained that it better not take another 20 minutes to do so! So she put a rush on the order and I waited again. So then she brings me a literally half raw lump of hamburger. I was livid! My friend was disgusted with her dinner as well and we both told her so. She went and got someone else who may have been the cook. We both got into this big deal with her.....and we left telling everyone that we will never eat there again!!...haha....I (being the sweet person that I am) ended up taking my dinner with me and paid for it....my girlfriend left hers there and refused to pay. I was still stuffed from all the soup and salad, but my friend was still hungry. I ended up cooking it later in the oven for awhile and I gave it to my dogs. My friend told me that her boyfriend loves eating there, so now she has to divert his appetite elsewhere for awhile cause she doesn't dare go back in there for awhile...haha

Plus I still left a dollar tip......what an idiot I am!

Still here.....

I'm still in Caseville and I'm using a computer at this store in town. I was suppose to leave for home by now, but I'm having linoleum installed on Friday so I figure I may as well stay through another weekend.

I can't remember what I posted last. Anyway, Memorial weekend was great. My husband took a few extra days off and was here for 6 days. My youngest son came up with his girlfriend for a couple nights. We barbequed and hit a ton of garage sales.

Since everyone left I've been hanging with my girlfriend doing a lot of shopping and eating out....now I can barely fit into the bigger-size shorts and jeans I bought...haha. I've been working in my yard...planting flowers and weeding the flower beds. I bought these colorful....yellow, aqua, and coral.....chairs for my deck in front.

I almost had a major accident though. Our place is between these two curves in the road. I was coming back from somewhere and was so busy looking at my new chairs on the deck that I didn't see this car coming around the curve just as I started to pull into my driveway. It's a good thing he was a good driver. He swerved around me almost hitting my husband's car that was in the driveway, back onto the road and hitting the brakes so hard you could smell the rubber. He ran off the side of the road again trying to stop. This guy was pissed....and I don't blame him....he turned around and came back to where I was in the driveway and all I could do was say "I'm Sooooooo Sorry!". My husband and the neighbors all came running out to see what was going on. This was Memorial day weekend and the traffic on the road is like 10 times more than before, and I'm not use to it yet. I really have to be careful pulling out and in now that summer is here and the traffic will be so much worse.

Then just a few days ago, my dog Lucky ran past me as I was opening the doorwall to go somewhere and he ran out. I'm calling him and, of course, he never listens to me....so I see this car stopped in front of my place and I ran out to the road and there he was.....standing in the middle of the road sniffing a dead squirrel!....another car came and stopped and blew the horn and he ran into the yard next door....so I opened my car door and told him we were going "bye-bye" and he jumped in....whew!! I have really got to watch the doors more closely. That road is dangerous.....and I know that if Lucky got out again he will head straight for the road to see if that dead squirrel is still there....and he'll be roadkill for sure with the traffic getting worse now.

Yesterday I spent the day in Bad Axe with my friend...so today I'm going to just lay out on my lounger and listen to my audio book. Yeah, I had to call the Redford Library and get an extension on my rentals cause they are due tomorrow. Later......
