So What's new......

I should be in Caseville by now, but it's just been one thing after another. The sad thing is that one of the condo owners in Caseville died. He and his wife owned the condo above ours in Caseville, plus another one for their daughter and son-in-law. They've been condo owners for almost as long as we've been. He had to have some heart valve replaced, which he had done once before, but this time things just didn't go right. What eventually happened was that his diaphram stopped working and he could hardly breathe....and his body started to retain poisonous carbon dioxide cause his diaphram couldn't expel it out. So anyway, I went to the funeral home. Some owners that have sold and I haven't seen for awhile were there. I feel so bad for his wife. She had a mini stroke awhile back and now she will be alone to take care of things by herself. God, life sucks...

Sunday was my little grandson's birthday....he's THREE years old now!!

Tomorrow, my husband has to go get an MRI done. He's been having major pain in his left shoulder for quite awhile now. His left hand is swollen from arthritis and the pain goes from his hand up to his shoulder. He's lost weight. They feel that the pain in his shoulder is from an injury or something and isn't related to the arthritis in his hand. He was trying to get his wedding ring off and can't. His fingers are too swollen. They said that he doesn't have to take it off for the MRI, although it is recommended. He probably just needs a cortosone shot, but they need to determine exactly where the problem is. They already took tons of x-rays.

So maybe by Thursday I can get up to Caseville. I need to get things ready for summer. I need to cut the grass. I need to get the hell out of here....

Hubby said I could leave the dogs home. He has too much to do here and won't come up this time. I'll maybe stay a week or so.

So I've been going into Craigslist alot. I love the Rants & Raves section in the personal section. It's hilarious reading what the posters have to say about whatever subject they get on. Some posters take things too serious though. I always have to put in my two cents worth in and someone always trashes what I say. I actually had one guy send me an email and called me a moran!! So I exposed him on the open board with his name and he got all bent out of shape about it and threatened to turn me into Craigslist (although he had done the same thing with someone else....what an idiot!)....anyway, just ppl giving other ppl a hard time, I guess.

I've sold a few things there too.....and I found a really good van for my daughter-in-law there....a 2000 Dodge Caravan for $2500 in my city!

So that's what I've been up to. Oh, since this blogger thing changed I had trouble remembering what my user name and password is now. I even tried to post a comment on a blog and couldn't do it. So I think I got it now. I wrote it down.

Poooooor Mini Sue.....

My little dog, Mini Sue, had dental surgery today. She had her four upper front teeth yanked out and one of her back molars. I felt so bad leaving her there this morning. I'll never forget the look on her little precious face when the nurse was taking her away! She did not look too happy with me....haha.

She survived the surgery and later was out running in the backyard barking at a neighbor's dog....being her old yipey self. But, of course, when she's in the house she's all acting like she's dying. She just lays on the couch and looks all sad....

So I told her this story: I told her that it wasn't my fault. I told her that they kidnapped her and held her for ransom. I told her that they called and said that if I didn't come up with $330 they were going to start pulling teeth. I told her that I had to wait until the banks opened and then I had to go to Walmart, but I got there as soon as I could; but by then they had already pulled 5 of her teeth. I'm not sure if she believes me.....

I was finally able to get into my account so I can post. Before, they kept trying to get me to switch to something and I wouldn't.

So what's been going on?.....

I'm almost done with tax season.....Thursday should be my last day.

My g'friend who lost her son recently lost her mother just before Easter.

I've been into Craigslist lately and love the "rants and raves" section. I always have to put my input in once in awhile....then get ppl mad at me...LOL

My youngest son has a new girlfriend and we met her on his birthday. She is super nice and really pretty. Her dad is a district mgr for Walgreen's so she is an assistant manager to one of their stores.

Husband is in a lot of pain with his arthritis and went to the dr., but the meds they gave him isn't doing a whole hell of a lot of good. I bought some vitamins for him to try. His left hand is swollen and the pain runs up to his shoulder. Poor guy...he may have to go to a neurologist.

We "adopted" my army son's dog. We babysat her while my daughter-in-law drove to South Carolina for his basic training graduation. We decided to just keep her with us. She is an old dog....almost 14. Here she is being fed better and getting lots of love and attention. So we have 3 dogs now.

I took little Mini Sue to the vet for her shots. The rabies shot gave her the runs so I had to take her back for more shots.....poor baby girl! Her teeth are bad and she is losing a tooth in front so she is scheduled for dentist work next Monday.

Hus took the dogs (2 of them at the time) to Caseville for a week and I had the house all to myself!!!! I cleaned the house from top to bottom and everything was so nice and clean and so QUIET!....I missed my dogs, so I was glad when he brought them home....LOL

I'm going to post a pic of my son's army pic in my photo studio. Check it out. Right now I'm going to Walgreen's and buy some Cadbury Eggs before they are all gone and ya won't see them again til next Easter.....
